United Way of Greater Cincinnati Exceeds Campaign Goal and Adopts More Constituent-Focused Approach With StratusLIVE for Fundraisers™

The Challenge

When United Way of Greater Cincinnati (UWGC) was looking to enhance the way they engaged with donors and the community, it was imperative to identify a solution able to handle literally hundreds of thousands of transactions, yet still be very easy to use. “We worked at changing our culture and business practices to be more constituent focused,” said Chris Martin, vice president of resource development. “Having a technology platform that would enable us to have a more integrated and automated approach to constituent relationship management was the last piece of the puzzle.”

The Solution

In fact, the 2011 campaign raised more than $60 million, exceeding the goal by over a quarter-million dollars. The campaign also brought more than 2,800 new donors and 102 new employee campaigns and corporate gifts. In the same period, nearly 14,000 existing donors increased their gifts.
