Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

A series of testing scenarios, designed around your current processes and tested by your users, are referred to and executed for the tester to test how the system should perform and where common mistakes may be found. If testing uncovers bugs, missing configurations, or missed requirements, those items will move back through a design, development, and testing phase on their own.

System Testing is generally performed by a mix of personnel but should be performed by end-users as identified in the test plans, who then provide acceptance of the functionality as the final gate to moving to the Mock Go Live/Go Live stage.
